In-Cabin Pet Policy

If your dog, cat, bird (excluding birds of prey), fish, and turtles or tortoises meet the requirements Vueling Airlines pet policy to travel in-cabin, you will need an approved, soft-sided airline pet carrier. the carrier must be equal to or less than 45 cm long, 39 cm wide and 21 cm high. (18" long x 15" wide x 8" high). Combined weight of your pet including its carrier cannot exceed 8kg.

If you are traveling with a soft-sided carrier, the height should be measured when compressed. There must be sufficient room for your pet to stand up and turn around in the carrier. It must have a waterproof bottom and must have adequate ventilation.

A maximum of 2 pets is permitted per flight. Vueling pet policy is one pet carrier per paying adult passenger.

Pets Allowed:

Dogs, cats, birds (excluding birds of prey), fish, and turtles or tortoises. Rabbits, rodents, ferrets, livestock and other animals that produce smells are not permitted.

Age

Puppies and kittens must be at least 12 weeks of age.

Route Restrictions:

Pets are not permitted to travel on international flights to the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Forms Required

Proof of current rabies vaccination administered between 30 days and 12 months prior to flight and all forms required for your destination country.

Reservations

Reservations for pets should be made online. The charge for transporting a pet in the cabin is 40&#euro; for domestic flights and 50&#euro; for international flights each way. Pets must fly in the main cabin.

Assistance Dogs

Assistance dogs that have been specifically trained to address a passenger's special need may fly in the cabin on all domestic and international flights served by Vueling Airlines.

Owners of trained assistance dogs must provide physical evidence of training certification. Dogs must be at least 3 months old and harnessed. The owner is responsible for providing all food and hygenic needs of the assistance dog.

Vueling Airlines will not transport puppies and kittens until they have reached the age of 12 weeks, been vaccinated for rabies and waited for 30 days after vaccination to travel.
