Armenia Pet Passport & Import Regulations

Armenia Flag

There will be no quarantine imposed on your pet when entering Armenia as long as the following requirements are met. Unless otherwise stated, the regulations below apply to domestic dogs and cats including service and emotional support dogs and cats.

Pet Microchip

pet microchip

Armenia does not require that your pet be identified with a pet microchip; however, it is strongly recommended that pet owners identify their pets with a microchip prior to traveling as a means of identification.

The microchip should be implanted by your veterinarian, veterinary hospital or trained nurse. You should receive documentation as to the manufacturer of the microchip and instructions how to register your pet's information in the manufacturer database.

If your pet does not have a registered microchip, your pets should be wearing tags that identify them and have contact information for the owner.
