CROATIA PETS FLYING IN-CABIN
Only small dogs and cats can travel in-cabin on Croatia Airlines and only to countries that permit it. If your dog or cat meets the requirements listed in Croatia Airlines pet policy to travel in-cabin, you will need an approved airline pet carrier. You must notify Croatia Airlines that you are traveling with a pet. Reservations cannot be made online. One carrier is permitted per passenger. Maximum size of your pet and its carrier cannot exceed 17.6 pounds (8 Kg). Pets are not permitted to travel on flights to the United Kingdom. Medically certified service animals are permitted to travel in-cabin.

WHEN YOU OR YOUR DESIGNEE IS ACCOMPANYING YOUR PET1. Croatia Airlines permits the following pets to travel as checked baggage:
Dogs and cats are the only animals permitted to travel as checked baggage.
2. Route Restrictions
Croatia Airlines does not permit pets on flights to the United Kingdom.
3. Croatia Airlines pet policy regarding weather conditions:
Pets will be
exposed to summer and winter temperatures between the holding area and
boarding. The airlines reserves the right to evaluate temperatures along
the route.
Up to three puppies or kittens of the same litter can travel in the same crate as long as they do not weith more than 8kg each. Two adult pets under 30 lbs (14kg) each may travel in the same crate as long as they are known to eachother.
5. Croatia Airlines Reservations and Check-In
Check-in at reservation desk where you will pay excess baggage charge.
6. Equipment required for checked baggage transport:
Your dog or cat must travel in an IATA compliant hard
plastic, metal or wood
pet
crate pet crate with a leak proof bottom, secure door
with spring lock and adequate room for your pet to stand up and turn
around. A water/food bowl should be attached to the door. Water and food
should be provided prior to travel. Please note that Croatia Airlines'

7. Breed Restrictions
Croatia Airlines reserves the right to observe your pet's
behavior prior to loading them in the aircraft.

WHEN YOU CANNOT FLY WITH YOUR PET OR YOU ARE FLYING TO A COUNTRY THAT REQUIRES THAT YOUR PET ENTER AS MANIFEST CARGO1. Croatia Airlines pet policy for manifest cargo:
Croatia Airlines will transport other
unaccompanied pets as manifest cargo.
2. Croatia Airlines breed restrictions for manifest cargo:
Breed restrictions are the same as for checked
baggage.
3. Croatia Airlines forms required for manifest cargo transport:
Health Certificate issued by a licensed
veterinarian at least 10 days prior
to travel will be required.
All forms required for your destination country should be attached to
the crate.
