Has anyone flown dogs to Paris and onto the UK via Eurotunnel by car?

    Hi
Am flying my 2 dogs to Paris Charles De Gaulle next month. From there, they will be picked up by my husband and driven back into the UK. Has anyone done this? I have read some concerning stories about getting the dogs out of the airport at Paris - is there something I need to know documentation wise other than valid pet passport, health certificate and rabies vacs? Also, is there anything else I require to get them out of France and into the UK? Thanks in advance.

Yup - your dogs will need proof of microchip, rabies vaccination before the chip was implanted, non-commercial EU health certificate and a tapeworm treatment. http://www.pettravel.com/immigration/UnitedKingdom.cfm.

Many pet owners choose to enter England as you are doing to avoid the air cargo requirement. This post will likely be helpful to you: http://www.dogjaunt.com/2013/11/taking-a-dog-into-and-out-of-england-on-the-eurotunnel-le-shuttle/
