British Airlines subcontracts its transport of live animals to IAG Cargo. An agent must book the transport.

I have found several variants, like British airline and so on. But I didn't find answer of the price for dog.

pbzepplin - we would contact KLM and arrange for the dogs to get a rest stop at AMS on the way to Calgary. It is a 13 hour flight from Cape Town to AMS and they will need to be walked and fed. You can clear customs at Calgary and proceed to Saskatoon with WestJet or whatever airline can handle your dog's crates as it is only a short trip. Be careful of the temperatures through April and a bit into May. No airline will fly your dogs in the cargo hold when temperatures fall below 45 degrees F anywhere along the route.

We have two large dogs that we want to take with us to Saskatoon. They will be leaving from Cape Town, so the airlines available from this location that travel to Canada are limited. These include British Airways, Emirates, KLM and Turkish Airlines. Each dog plus crate is probably going to weight around 70-80kg. Has anyone used these airlines to transport dogs? I need some advice on which airline to go with. Of course, we are worried about the welfare of our dogs as the flight might be as long as 30-40 hours.
