  • Airline Travel With Cat

    Hi,

I'm planning on taking my cat from Germany to Ireland in June and although the most important things (blood test, paperwork, vaccinations, and microchip) are arranged, I'm freaking out about the actual travel. I keep hearing horror stories about cats not being allowed in cabin despite the booking. I've found Pettravel.com on travelsites.com/travel-with-pets/ so join the forum to give a shot.

I'm doing all the research that I can, I have started shopping for all the travel essentials (wee pads, wipes, bin bags, foldable drink bowl, etc.) but I would love to hear some positive stories from others who took their cat (in cabin) and how everything went fine and perfectly.

    Thanks in advance!

nathandev - all live animals must enter Ireland as air cargo according to regulations of commercial airlines. You can research pet friendly ferries between the mainland and Ireland such as Irish Ferries so you can avoid this requirement. :-)
