Destinations Served: Malaysia Airlines flies to over 100 destinations in North America, Europe, Asia, Australia and the Middle East.
Pets Allowed: Malaysia Airlines does not permit pets to travel in the cabin of the aircraft.
If your pet is too large to fit under the seat, it is an animal other than a dog or cat, or if it is a very long flight, Malaysia Airlines may transport your pet in the cargo section of the aircraft according to its regulations. This section of the cargo department has the same temperature and pressure as the passenger cabin.
Pets Allowed: cats, certain dogs (see Breed and Route Restrictions below) and fish.
Reservations and Check-In: Your pet must be booked in advance. Check-in at reservation desk where you will pay excess baggage charge.
Weather Restrictions: Pets will be exposed to summer and winter temperatures between the holding area and boarding. Travelers should fly at night during the summer and during the day in winter. If the temperature exceeds 85°F, the airline reserves the right not to transport your dog or cat.
Breed Restrictions: The following pets will not be transported: Affenpinscher, Akita, American Bulldog, Bordeux Mastiff, Boston Terrier, Boxer, Brussels Griffon, Bulldog, Bull Mastiff, Cane Corso, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Chihuahua, Chow Chow, Dogo Argentino, English Mastiff, English Toy Spaniel, Fila Brasileiro, French Bulldog, Japanese Chin, Lhasa Apso, Mastiff, Pekinese, Pit Bull, Presa Canario, Pug, Shih Tzu, Spaniels, Terriers and Tosa.
Route Restrictions: All pets entering or leaving the United Kingdom must do so as air cargo.

Forms Required: Malaysia Airlines requires that your pet be accompanied by all required documentation for its country of export or import.
Malaysia Airlines flies pets as manifest cargo under MASkargo.
Forms Required: original import permit (if traveling to Malaysia), endorsed health certificate issued within 7 days of flight, export certificate from originating country (if traveling to Malaysia)
EU pet passports issued in Europe will not be permitted as a substitute for a health certificate.
