1.

In-Cabin Pet Policy

Eva Airlines does not permit the transport of pets in the cabin with the exception of service and emotional support animals with medical certification.

Owners of service dogs should contact Eva Airlines a minimum of 48 hours prior to flight departure.

Owners of emotional support dogs should submit the following to Eva Air more than 48 hours prior to flight departure: letter from licensed mental healh professional on their letterhead dated within 12 months stating that the passenger is under their care, the passenger has a mental or emotional disability recognized in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual, that the passenger must have the dog to address this disability during the flight or at the destination. Information must be provided regarding the physician's license. (type, state of jurisdiction and expiration)

Emotional support dogs must be over 4 months in age and well behaved. Only one emotional support dog is accepted per passenger.

Emotional support dogs are only accepted on flights to or from the United States.

Checked Baggage Pet Policy

If your pet is too large to fit under the seat, or if it is a very long flight, Eva Airlines may transport your pet in the cargo section of the aircraft according to its regulations. This section of the cargo department has the same temperature and pressure as the passenger cabin.

Pets Allowed:

Cat, dogs and rabbits over 10 weeks of age. Birds are not transported on Eva Airlines.

Route Restrictions:

Pets are not permitted to fly as checked baggage to Australia, United Kingdom or Hong Kong. Due to aircraft limitations, pets are not permitted on all flights.

Reservations:

To fly your pet as checked baggage, reservations should be made no more than 24 hours after booking your ticket. The number of pets accepted in the baggage compartment is limited by aircraft type. You need to contact Eva Airlines with details of your pet's transport.

Forms Required

Passengers are required to contact Eva Airlines in advance when traveling with a pet. You need to fill out 2 copies of this notification form and present the forms at check-in. Valid health and rabies certificates will be required.

Eva Airlines will require all forms required for destination country be presented at check-in when traveling internationally.

Check-In:

When flying as checked baggage, you will check in your pet at the passenger ticket counter (leave yourself time to check in) in an IATA-compliant pet crate at which time you will pay the fee for transport. In order to travel as checked baggage.

Temperature Restrictions:

If, at any point, (origination/transit/destination) during your pet's transport, the temperature for the day is forecast to be less than 10 degrees F (-12°C) or greater than 85°F (29°C), your pet will be refused transport as checked baggage. There are no exceptions to these temperature restrictions.

Crate Requirements:

Crates must rigid plastic, escape-proof, have a waterproof bottom and ventillation on several sides. The lock on the door must be spring loaded so your pet cannot open the door. Food must be taped to the top of the crate and there must be a food and water bowl attached to the door.

No more than two adult animals of comparable size, weighing as much as 14 kg/31 lb. each, can be shipped in the same kennel. The size of the crate must be 3 times the width of the largest animal. For their safety and comfort, animals that weigh more than this must travel in their own crate.

3.

Manifest (Air) Cargo Pet Policies

Unaccompanied pets or pets traveling to Australia, Hong Kong or the United Kingdom must travel as manifest (air) cargo.

Pets Allowed:

Warm blooded mammals, acquatics and reptiles. Eva Airlines Cargo will not ship poisonous, dangerous or offensive animals, wild birds, laboratory animals, animals with strong odors or pets that will be banned by the country of destination.

Forms Required:

A health certificate issued within 10 days of travel, proof of rabies vaccination and all forms required for your destination country. Eva Airlines will require all forms required for destination country be presented at check-in when traveling internationally.

Check-In:

Locations will vary by airport depending on the location of the cargo office.

Form Requirements:

Eva Airlines Cargo will require an health certificate issued within 10 days of arrival. Also required are proof of vaccinations (dog, cat and ferret) and pet passport documents for the country your pet is traveling to (international travel only).

Breed Restrictions

Eva Airlines will not fly the following snub-nosed dog breeds or their mixes from April 1st to November 30th at Northern Hemisphere points and from Oct 1st to Mar 31st at Southern Hemisphere points. Additionally, snub-nosed breeds traveling to/via/from Southeast Asia (Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam) are prohibited at any time.

Snub-nosed dogs: Affenpinscher, Boston Terrier, Boxers(all breeds), Brussels Griffin, Bulldog (all breeds), Bull Terrier, Pug(all breeds), Cane Corso, Chow Chow, Dogue de Bordeaux, English Toy Spaniel, Japanese Chin/Japanese Spaniel/Chin Chin, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Lhasa Apso, Mastiff (all breeds), Pekinese, Presa Canario, Shar Pei, Shih Tzu and Tibetan Spaniel.

Snub-nosed cats: Burmesem Himalayan, Persian (e.g. Chinchilla) and Exotic shorthair.

Eva Airlines will not transport the following dangerous dog breeds at any time: American Pit Bull (Terrier), American Staffordshire, Terrier Fila Brazileiros, Japanese Tosa, Pit Bull Terrier and Dogo Argentino (Argentine Mastiff).

Eva Airlines will not fly snub-nosed animals to or transit in any of these countries at any time: Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand or Vietnam.
