need opinion on best way to get my dog from east coast to west coast

im on very limited money, and Ive narrowed my choices down. i cant find any way to travel with my dog, ill be taking the greyhound across country Maryland to California, and i need to get my dog to California. Ive found 1 ground transport company, www.pawsnclaws.org that would do it for 550 or so, or i can fly her on delta for around 402. not too worried about that little difference in cost, but what my concern is, is what is the best for my dog. shes a lab mutt mix, part pit as well. anyone have any idea if ground or air would be best, and also if there's any other options for getting myself and my pet across country. Ive tried looking into rescue transports and have come up with nothing. thanks in advance for any help someone can give. im getting down to last minute. trying to move out of here by the 15th.

In my opinion your pet will be better off in the hands of Delta Airlines. To make the arrangements you need to speak with Delta Airlines Air Cargo Department and not the reservations department.
You will need an IATA compliant pet crate for the pet to travel in. You can see them here:

*nods* well ive heard that dogs become very stressed out and will likely arrive covered in their own filth, and possibly vomit as well. i don't really wanna put her thru that if i don't have to. but it is a little cheaper and faster. has anyone here used delta before? i wanna hear some stories/info from people, not their customer service center or whatever i gotta call. they obviously aren't gonna tell me anything bad. she said there hasn't been a single incident shes heard of in 3 years that she worked there. im sure at least one thing has happened. also anyone know if Delta will be responsible if something were to happen to my dog in their hands? would they pay for the vet, or give me x amount of dollars if the worst case happened? a big reason i don't trust airlines is after soo many years, they still loose baggage for passengers on a daily basis. if they cant even fix that, how are they responsible enough to safely transport a pet?

My daughter recently shipped her very large golden retriver from California to Florida. It was on Delta and the pet arrived in fine condition.

We have used airlines before with our dogs, and they are really well looked after - i would trust an airline more than a courier.

I think there is too much color. The idea is not bad, but if you're doing a design which is to have something with money, you have to make it stable, modest, and trustful. This design is saying more close to kids, fun parks, games.
