Traveling to Brazil

Hey there, I am Ayoub and I am 19 years of age. I am going on holiday to Brazil and I want to take my 2 dogs with me and want to know if this is possible. I am not sure with what airline I am flying yet because I want to know if there is a pet-friendly airline around that will take my 2 dogs with me as I do not want them to be alone for 6 weeks at our home.

    Thank you!

Brazil is fairly easy to enter with your pets. You will need the Brazil health certificate signed by a licensed veterinarian and the pets must be vaccinated for rabies. Most all airlines flying to Brazil accept pets as checked baggage if they are traveling in an IATA/APHIS compliant pet crate. If you need the complete instructions and the necessary forms for taking your pet into Brazil go to www.pettravelstore.com and then click on Pet Passports - Immigration Info and scroll down to Brazil. If you have additional questions please let me know.

Although traveling with your dog overseas isnít impossible, itís challenging. If you are planning to take your dog, or even cat, on trips, you should really make some preparations for his comfort. Well, it may became very difficult to do so much traveling with your dog as each country has different rules about bringing a dog. At the very least you will need papers that proof that your dog got all the shots needed and papers that say she is healthy.

It will not be difficult to get your 2 dogs allowed to fly with you to Brazil. That country is helpful in that and the airline will also be allowing you after some formal procedures of getting vaccination certificates etc.
