This tiny town of only about 350 people lies near the bottom of Vermont in the heart of the famous Southern Vermont Green Mountain Resort Area. It is quite near several other popular vacation destinations towns such as Londonderry, Andover Grafton and Jamaica.

The original settlers to the area came in the late 1700's when it became quite a thriving town. However, this small and somewhat remote mountain village now known as Windham Village has lost much of its population but retained all the charm of an old Vermont Village.

During the winter the area becomes a Mecca for cross country skiers. The fall brings a riot of color to the trees surrounding the meandering stream that runs through the village.

During the summer months your family and your pet will enjoy hiking in the hills just outside of town. There are numerous bike trails and several places where you can rent horses for a ride through the countryside.

Located in Windham is a unique bed and breakfast called the Stone Wall Inn. This 10 room inn is housed in two buildings that were designed to make use of nature's ability to warm the rooms during winter and keep them cool during the summer months. Pets are very welcome at the Stone Valley Inn.
