Flagler Beach in Flagler County Florida is an awesome location and very pet friendly!
My dog and I recently stayed in the Sophia Hotel in the historic district of San Diego. Hotel staff welcomed my pet Shih-Tzu graciously. The rooms were tastfully decorated and very comfortable. There was a non-refundable $50.00 pet cleaning fee for my stay of several days. The location of the hotel was perfect. Walking distance from the water and from lots of great restaurants and shops. No shuttle to the airport, but it was a short taxi ride. I would highly recommend this historic pet friendly hotel for traveling pet owners.
