RITISH EUROPEAN AIRLINE (aka Flybe)
If you intend to bring your pet with you, it is important
to make this known before you book as some of our aircraft are not suitable
for their carriages.
Please contact the flybe cargo department for more
details.
Please also note the following:
You must book a minimum of 7 days prior to travel.
All animals must be conveyed as cargo, as we are unable to accept animals
as baggage. Passengers are responsible for placing pets in suitable containers
(we recommend the Voyager 100 or similar) as they must travel in the hold
and are not allowed in the cabin at any time - unless to assist a visually/hearing-impaired
passenger.
The carriage of dogs/cats can only be undertaken on our BAe146 aircraft,
operating either to/from London Gatwick and the Channel Islands or to/from
London Gatwick and Belfast City.
A veterinary health certificate (issued no more than two days before
travel) must be provided. If the animal has been outside the UK in the
previous 12 months, quarantine release certificates must be provided.
Flybe. Cargo cannot accept any animal that has been sedated or any animal
under 10 weeks old. The UK's new 'Pet Passport' scheme does NOT apply
to air travel.
